Our Summer of Smiles.

We have had so many great memories this summer that I just have to share. With Kinleigh now being old enough to express her feelings, and to see her eyes light up with excitement for the moment, these days were so special to me. I would have to say that one of Kinleigh's favorite thing is spending time with her Grandmothers & Grandfathers. With them ranging from Washington to Minnesota to all over the state of Georgia, the time is few and far between and very special for her. She always has lots of fun hanging out with her Athens grandparents, Nona & Pops. We are very thankful to have them so close to us and love watching Kinleigh wrap them around her little finger! Grandma Kim from Washington visited this Summer! Kinleigh experienced her first Camping trip with GM Kim, GG, and Pap Pap. They had a blast! She loves her GM Kim! Kinleigh also had a visit from Grandma Jackie from Minnesota. It has been a year since we have seen her. These 2 weeks were filled with alot of happy and sad times for me. Kinleigh loved hanging out with GM Jackie. We spent alot of time at the park, in the pool, and lounging around the house. Last but not least, in the Grandparent department, I cannot forget Kinleigh's precious moments with her GG & Pap Pap! She simply adores them. Talks about them pretty much everyday. She got to spend a couple nights with them this summer and had such a good time. She always talks about coloring with chalk, McDonalds, the park, and walking up "the mountain"(driveway) with Pap Pap.

Brandon & I try to keep Kinleigh pretty busy and we are always taking her to see new things. This summer, we visited the Atlanta Zoo & Aquarium. She loved the zoo! Of course she knew all of the animals. Even the "plamingos" and the "baby deers". She wasn't a fan of the petting zoo. And much to our surprise, she was terrified at the Aquarium! But she had fun and I loved watching her sweet smile. We also went on our first family camping trip. That turned out to be a great success and with Brandon working all the time, it was great for the 3 of us to spend quality time together. I could go on and on about all my fond memories from this past summer but I will leave you with some photos.

Today, I am so thankful for the words "I love you". Yesterday, I was not feeling well and Brandon told Kinleigh "let mama lay down, her tummy hurts". So later on I came out of the bedroom and K asks "mommy, you sick? Your tummy hurts?" I say "Yeah, I don't feel very well". So she rubs my stomach and says" I love you Mommy". I sure did feel alot better after that.

2Corinthians 9:15 " Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!"
